Key Responsibilities:

Our Transport Planners look at ways to plan, improve, manage, and design transport systems at a local, regional, and national level.

We provide the building blocks to improving and delivering infrastructure for the future, whilst considering a wide range of issues such as safety, climate change, the economy, and the environment.

You will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks and will be able to learn new technical skills focusing on innovation, sustainability, and digital solutions.

Requirements:

  • Accepted Degrees: BEng, BSc, MEng or MSc in Transport Planning, Transport Planning & Engineering, Transport & the Environment, Geography, Urban Planning, Maths, Economics, Engineering (any description), computer science etc.
  • You will be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
