Associate Transport Planner Role

Emtech Recruitment is working with a leading Transport & Engineering Consultancy to find an experienced Associate Transport Planner to join their team in Cambridge. In this position, you will be responsible for project managing a range of development schemes, managing clients, and helping to grow the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake development planning work, providing highways and transport advice to private sector clients and supporting local authority clients.
  • Have a proven record in client care and relevant qualifications in a numerical or spatial discipline.
  • Be an experienced transport planner with extensive knowledge of the planning process, including EIP/Structure Plans and Public Inquiries/Local Plans.
  • Be proficient in GIS, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, and TEMPRO highway software.
  • Be keen to get involved in business development and marketing activities to support new revenue streams.
