Felixstowe is a key location for this role, with a global materials handling company seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role involves the maintenance, servicing, and repair of equipment while ensuring excellent customer service and high-quality technical support.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Perform all service, repair, warranty, and inspection tasks allocated daily, ensuring high-quality standards.
  2. Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical aspects of products and services.
  3. Investigate and resolve technical issues, including fault-finding and diagnostics of CANBUS and electrical systems.
  4. Continuously improve technical knowledge of the products, services, and industry standards.
  5. Adhere to company and legal standards, including health and safety practices, code of conduct, and other regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
  1. Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering with a strong background in heavy plant equipment and hydraulic systems.
  2. A strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.
  3. Relevant mechanical/electrical engineering qualifications.
  4. Proficiency in reading electrical wiring diagrams and diagnosing faults in CANBUS systems.
  5. Good IT literacy, numeracy, and analytical abilities to support diagnostic work and reporting.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities.
