About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Engineer Apprentice at Briggs Equipment Ltd, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop your skills and knowledge, and will be expected to contribute to the success of the team.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £20,000 per annum, increasing to £28,000 by the end of the 4-year program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing industrial equipment
  • Working closely with experienced engineers to develop skills and knowledge
  • Contributing to the success of the team

Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs at grade 4/C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science & Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
  • IT skills, including email and websites
