About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Advanced Analytics and Data Science Units (AA&DSUs) team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data science solutions that meet user and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify data science opportunities and co-own the front end of the project lifecycle to scope project ideas that can be solved with data science.
  • Conduct discovery workshops with stakeholders to better understand their pain points and explore how data science can help.
  • Convert business requirements into solutions by capturing and translating user pain points into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Shape strategic direction by helping management define scope, identify key stakeholders, and provide recommendations on areas/business problems to work on.
  • Manage a pipeline of projects by co-owning with management and reporting on assigned projects, including scoping with data scientists and prioritizing projects with the highest strategic alignment and business value.
  • Develop ways of working by sharing business analyst skills with the wider department and contributing to the development of best practice approaches and assets.
