Job Description

Job Title: Associate Director

Job Summary:

The Associate Director, Product Quality will play a critical role in ensuring the development, manufacture, release, distribution, and continuous improvement of our differentiated cell products and services meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production processes from a quality perspective, creating and driving plans with other key functions to improve product quality.
  • Represent quality as part of the wider product team, performing independent quality data reviews to support QC, stability, and consistency assessments.
  • Have supply chain oversight to ensure materials sourced from suppliers meet quality standards, are sustainable, and have necessary traceability.
  • Manage and develop quality within production teams, ensuring work instructions, SOPs, and other production methods or standards are in place and available.
  • Own and run disciplined review meetings to drive assessment of performance against targets, identify risk areas or adverse trends, and drive solutions for any issues identified.
  • Ensure quality records are fully completed in accordance with good documentation practices and are appropriately reviewed/approved and stored.
  • Identify training needs and establish product quality training programs in collaboration with other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience of working in the Life Sciences industry in a related Product Quality management role.
  • Proven experience of leading and managing product quality, with a strong understanding of and experience with change controls, non-conformances, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver tasks and special projects after general instruction and with minimal supervision.

Working Environment:

This is an office-based position, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
