Civil Engineer-in-Training Job Description

At Widseth Smith Nolting & Assoc., Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our team. As a Civil Engineer-in-Training, you will be involved in working on a variety of innovative and diverse projects, including land development, transportation, municipal, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in preparing drafting and design for civil systems, including calculations, drawings, and civil specifications.
* Work efficiently and effectively balancing multiple projects.
* Conduct project site visits, independently or with other team members.
* Prepare engineering reports on the progress and completion of civil projects.

**Requirements:**

* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or within 6 months.
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
* Knowledge of construction means, methods, and techniques.
