About the Role

At Widseth Smith Nolting & Assoc., Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our municipal engineering group, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  2. Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of municipal engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to internal staff and external partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  4. Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, contributing to the development of new business initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in municipal engineering, with a strong background in project management and client relationships.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, as well as knowledge of MnDOT requirements, State-Aid procedures, and common funding programs.
