We are seeking an experienced fire safety professional to join our Health and Safety Team at the University of Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing fire compliance advice and guidance, conducting investigations, and undertaking and reviewing fire risk assessments.
The role will involve working closely with the University's stakeholders to promote and improve fire safety standards and culture. This includes delivering training, producing reports, policies, and guidance following statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have significant qualifications in UK fire safety requirements and experience of working in a large complex organisation. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to manage their own workload and support other colleagues.
