Matchtech Mobility is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business by transforming customer requirements into detailed instructions for the repair and overhaul of products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise on all production-related issues, ensuring seamless execution of production processes.
- Focus on optimizing production and overhaul or repair of products, driving efficiency and quality improvements.
- Develop and update Overhaul Instructions and Work Instructions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize strip down, cleaning, painting, and assembly tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Design and develop test equipment interfaces, such as adaptor plates and asset mounting devices, to support product testing and validation.
- Write test specifications for product testing and programming of specific test equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct vibration analysis of products and assets to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
- Assist in setting up engineering and technical requirements for production, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Experience in the automotive sector, with a strong understanding of production processes and industry standards.
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant qualifications with significant practical experience.
- Experience in overhaul and repair, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Strong practical engineering approach, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office suite, with experience in technical documentation and reporting.
- Excellent technical documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Fluent in technical and conversational English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
