The Senior Accounting Manager position is available within a leading independent firm of chartered accountants.


This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to take on a leadership position and manage a varied portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Managing the day-to-day operations of an established department.
  • Overseeing the delivery of accounting, tax, and business advisory services to clients.
  • Reviewing statutory and year-end accounts, providing commercial business advice, and ensuring high levels of service are achieved within budget.
  • Managing, supporting, and mentoring staff members.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and identifying additional value-added opportunities.

Requirements:



  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience working within a firm of accountants.
  • Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge, leadership, and business development skills.
  • Commercially astute and able to demonstrate a strong track record of success in an accountancy practice environment.
