Head of Loan Documentation and Securities Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Loan Documentation and Securities team. As Head of Loan Documentation and Securities, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of loan documentation and securities strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit approval conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage lending documentation for contracts and post-contract needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Cultivate professional relationships with borrowers, agents, and third parties to address relevant inquiries and concerns.
- Establish and maintain effective lending documentation, security management, and banking system administration procedures.
- Oversee staff handling loan documentation and banking system administration, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with business development and risk management to align loan documentation with credit approval conditions and client terms.
- Coordinate with external parties for finance document preparation and negotiation, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Ensure clear communication of loan documentation processes to stakeholders, including staff, clients, and external partners.
- Provide backup support for loan documentation and security staff, ensuring seamless operations.
- Define departmental and individual goals, setting benchmarks for measurable processes and performance.
- Fairly supervise staff, providing comprehensive training and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
- Manage communications with other department heads, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
- Educated to Bachelor undergraduate degree level or higher.
- Previous banking experience is essential, ideally gained within retail banking.
- At least 10 years experience in the legal field, or experience drafting lending documentation.
- Qualified lawyer highly desirable.
- Strong experience on LMA documentation and commercial lending, and familiarity with LMA primary and secondary documentation.
- Previous experience managing a team.
