About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Team Manager to join our team at Booker Magor DC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Warehouse Operatives and Clerks, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse operation to meet productivity requirements and service level commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective communication and decision-making skills to lead a high-performing team
  • Excellent people management skills to motivate and develop team members
  • A can-do attitude and analytical skills to problem-solve quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations
  • Previous experience of working in a large distribution centre or similar environment
  • Intermediate PC user skills to effectively use warehouse management systems
