Job Opportunity: Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move goods and materials within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to transport goods and materials within the warehouse
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials
- Conduct regular checks on the forklift truck to ensure it is in good working order
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve warehouse goals
Requirements:
- A valid counterbalance licence (essential) refreshed within the last 3 years
- Double handler experience is desirable but not essential
- Awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to learn to operate the company's warehouse computer system to locate stock
Working Conditions:
The role will involve working in a warehouse environment, with regular exposure to the forklift truck and warehouse equipment. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including day and night shifts, and may be required to work overtime.
Pay and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £15.42 per hour, with overtime paid at £26.05 per hour. You will also have the opportunity to progress to a permanent position within the company.
