About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Doctor to join our team at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. As a Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Paediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients and contributing to the development of our paediatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients in the Paediatric Observation and Assessment Unit, Day Case Unit, and on the children's ward.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff.
  • Participate in departmental audits and quality improvement projects.
  • Contribute to the development of paediatric services and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Fully registered medical practitioner with GMC registration.
  • MRCPCH part 1 and equivalent postgraduate qualification in paediatrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in paediatric care, including general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care.
  • Awareness and involvement in audit and management.
  • Evidence of interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
