Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Litigation Handler to join our esteemed firm, GB - Global, in Blisworth. As a key member of our litigation team, you will play a pivotal role in defending litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates from issue to trial.
Key Responsibilities- Defend litigated motor claims, including personal injury, property damage, credit hire, LVI, and fraud, on behalf of large corporates from issue to trial.
- Assess liability and set and maintain reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client key performance indicators.
- Investigate the merits of third-party claims.
- Negotiate with third parties, third-party insurers, and third-party solicitors to achieve the best client outcome.
- Value general and special damages.
- Ensure full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators on all handled claims.
- Achieve 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system for all handled claims.
- Support the litigation team in achieving and maintaining full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators.
- Delegate and supervise tasks to Claims Administration Assistants as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with financial transactions, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators, as well as The Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Act as a technical and procedural referral for other team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; additional certifications or qualifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in handling litigated motor cases, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance law, regulations, and legal procedures.
