About the Role

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of Year 4 students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 4 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learners' needs.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
