Head of Residential Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our residential care team at The Hawthorns School. As Head of Residential Care, you will be responsible for creating a bespoke residential package that supports our students' needs and enables them to develop the skills necessary for their next steps.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team that prioritizes the needs of our students. You will work closely with our Leadership Team, Local Governance Group, and the SEAX Trust Executive Team to develop a holistic and bespoke residential offer that complements our evolving curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a residential care plan that meets the individual needs of our students
• Work collaboratively with our teaching staff to ensure a seamless transition between academic and residential care
• Provide leadership and guidance to our residential care team to ensure high-quality care and support
• Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with:
• A strong background in residential care and education
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
