Agile Delivery Director

Are you a seasoned leader looking for a challenging role in a dynamic software consultancy? We're seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Director to join our team at Scott Logic Ltd.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines strong project management skills with the ability to communicate technical matters effectively. As an Agile Delivery Director, you'll lead the delivery of complex technology projects for clients, develop and maintain strong client relationships, and demonstrate hands-on expertise in managing software development projects using Agile methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex technology projects for clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in managing software development projects using Agile methods
- Team leading, with proficiency in the management and motivation of high-performing software development teams
- Take responsibility for project financials to achieve targeted financial results
- Support onboarding of consultants to projects; assist in qualifying resource requests and work with line managers and consultants to assess project fit
- Undertake line management of assigned consultants, handling performance feedback and annual review processes
Requirements
- Previous experience with a technology consultancy
- Strong appreciation of modern software engineering and associated development technologies
- Ability and willingness to travel to other Scott Logic offices as well as client sites within the UK and overseas, as required
- Previous experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Project management certification (such as PRINCE2 Practitioner status, PMI or ScrumMaster)
- A relevant university degree
