Job Description

The Engineer seeks an experienced Transfer Pricing Leader to lead our global transfer pricing efforts. This role is a key position within the company, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £100,000 per annum, plus benefits.

About the Role

As the Transfer Pricing Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring our transfer pricing arrangements are compliant with all applicable tax laws and regulations. You will manage the group's tax expense in a way that aligns with our values and legal obligations in relevant jurisdictions.

  • Lead on APA and other highly technical transfer pricing topics.
  • Own delivery and design improvement of existing operational transfer pricing processes.
  • Work with the tax team and external advisors to deliver transfer pricing documentation.
  • Manage/oversee compliance with transfer pricing requirements in all jurisdictions.
  • Advise on potential transfer pricing topics arising from our operations, such as new business lines or approaches.
  • Lead/support transfer pricing audits with Local Tax Managers.
  • Provide training and coaching to country tax staff across the group, enhancing their skills for high-quality tax support.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Around 10 years+ experience as a transfer pricing senior manager or director in accounting firms or industry.
  • Strong experience of residual profit splits, intangible transaction arrangements, APAs, cost sharing agreements, and thorough knowledge of OECD, BEPS TP guidelines.
  • Ability to conduct functional analysis and economic analysis, preparing documentation independently.
  • Familiarity with supporting delivery of unilateral/multilateral advanced pricing agreements.
  • Experience of tax authority transfer pricing audits in Europe and preferably wider.
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong skills in communicating with a global, diverse group of colleagues.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of personal commitment and self-motivation, being innovative, flexible, a team player, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Aerospace and/or Defence experience is preferred.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential, strong command of French, Italian, or German is desirable.
