Financial Director

With a rich history of delivering exceptional service in the logistics sector across Western Australia for over six decades, our client is currently experiencing rapid growth and seeks to strengthen its finance function.

This senior finance role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee a team of two direct reports. Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive budgeting and financial planning strategies
• Preparing and presenting monthly management reports to senior stakeholders
• Conducting thorough balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting statutory accounts in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with tax requirements, including BAS, FBT, and GST
• Providing support to the CFO on ad-hoc matters

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in commercial accounting or business services, preferably within a firm setting. Key qualifications include:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Experience leading small teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
