Job Description

This role involves working in a fast-paced deli environment, preparing and cooking food products according to our high standards and food safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, work well in a team environment, and possess previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and food quality to our customers.
  • Assist with ordering, stock management, and visual merchandising.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food products according to our high standards and food safety guidelines.
  • Support the deli supervisor with daily tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and the deli area.
  • Cover shop floor tasks or till operation when required, with appropriate training.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent), and/or 6 months' previous experience in a similar environment.
  • Previous experience of working in a team and demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • HACCP (Food Safety) experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are desirable but not essential.
