North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Child Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Barking. This part-time role will involve working closely with our community teams to provide high-quality care to children and young people across North East London, Essex, and Kent.

About the Role:

  • This role is a fantastic opportunity for a consultant psychiatrist to work as a specialist in eating disorders within our community CAMHS service.
  • You will be based at Orchards Health Centre in Barking and will be working closely with other professionals to provide the best possible care to our patients.
  • We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and has excellent communication skills.
  • The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to be included in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
  • Extensive experience working as a consultant psychiatrist in child and adolescent mental health services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
