Instrumentation and Control Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating electrical and instrumentation design works and implementation. This is a full-time onsite contract role, reporting directly to the Electrical Package Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate electrical and instrumentation design works and implementation
• Perform quality and compliance checks on electrical and instrumentation installations
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of calibration records, technical reports, system modifications, and compliance certifications
• Conduct regular safety checks, risk assessments, and enforce safety protocols for all E&I activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial or construction environments
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, or any specialized instrumentation and calibration certifications are advantageous
• Proficiency in E&I design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming tools)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
