Job Type: Temporary (ongoing)

Location: Downham Market

Salary: £22.00 - £23.50 CIS

Working Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Our client, ARC (Norwich), is seeking a dedicated Site Foreman/Ganger to oversee the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects in the Downham Market area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on the site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and address any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Manage site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily reports.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, including supervisors, tradespeople, and laborers, to maintain high-quality standards and achieve project objectives.
  • Supervise a team of groundworkers.

Desirable Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • A valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification is essential.
  • CPCS machine operator card is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
