Job Title: Site Foreman/Ganger

Job Type: Temporary (ongoing)

Location: Downham Market

Salary: £22.00 - £23.50 CIS

Working Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Site Foreman/Ganger to join our busy civils team based near Downham Market.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Manage site documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the site team to maintain high-quality standards and achieve project objectives.
  • Supervise a team of groundworkers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • A valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is essential.
  • CPCS machine operator card is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
