Neurolinguistics Specialist Clinician

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and implementing personalized treatment plans for adult patients with various speech and language disorders. Your excellent communication skills, flexibility, and understanding of multidisciplinary teamwork will make you a valuable asset to our team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, audit, and research initiatives, as well as support and develop others, including band 5 staff, band 3 staff, and students. You will also provide training sessions within the broader multidisciplinary team. Our team is dedicated to delivering patient-centric care, and we welcome individuals who are proactive in driving service improvement and transformation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Speech and language therapy assessment, clinical diagnoses, and implementation of agreed treatment plans.
- Evaluating care delivery needs for routine and complex patients across the stroke pathway.
- Accessing peer support, regular supervision, and training opportunities, including videofluoroscopy.
- Participating in and leading service development, audit, and research.
- Supporting and developing others, including band 5, band 3 staff, and students.
- Providing training sessions within the wider MDT.
