Shrewsbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom My Four Wheels Full time
As a professional driver trainer, you will be entrusted with delivering high-quality training sessions to learner drivers in the UK. With the current surge in demand for driving instructors, driven largely by test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19, our instructors are seeing an average hourly rate increase of £3 over the past 12 months. More strikingly, over 70% of our instructors have extensive waiting lists, sometimes stretching up to six months.

If you possess excellent customer service skills and relevant experience, you may find this career path particularly appealing. To become a successful driver trainer, you should meet the following essential criteria:

• Hold a full UK driving license (or an equivalent foreign license) for at least two years

• Be free from any driving ban imposed within the last four years.

Upon meeting these conditions, you will undergo comprehensive training, provided locally whenever possible. This training aims to equip you with the necessary skills to excel in your role. Moreover, you will benefit from our above-average pass rates and reimbursement of your entire training costs. As a driving instructor with us, you can anticipate a competitive annual salary between £25,000 and £30,000, dependent on your experience and qualifications. Alongside a remunerative package, you will receive thorough coaching and ongoing support to ensure your success in this fulfilling role.
