Experienced Bookkeeper Required for Financial Operations

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team at Ben and Britt at Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, and have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support our financial operations effectively.
Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries and reconciling account balances.
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial data efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business operations.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hourly Rate: $93 per hour.
- Benefits: On-site parking.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Experience: 2 years of payroll experience, 3 years of experience with QuickBooks, and 3 years of experience with accounting software.
