Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities. As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality work. Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure awareness and adherence to legal and company requirements for fire, safety, health, and hygiene.
- To report health and safety concerns.
- To assist in food production areas with basic food preparation.
- To ensure the availability of service equipment and menu accompaniments prior to service.
- To serve customers with hot and cold food and beverages during service times.
- To inform the Chef/Manager of any menu shortages to ensure a quick and efficient service.
- To maintain displays, counters, and seating areas in accordance with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements.
- To assist with hospitality as required.
- To assist with deliveries, including storing, rotating, stock taking, and temperature checks.
- To clean work areas during and after use and remove waste to the appropriate area.
- To be aware of daily menu content and any changes in the tariff when involved in till duties.
- To receive, store, and check stock for quality and quantity, ensuring all areas are fully stocked.
- To assist in the kitchen and pot wash area when necessary.
- To be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner, including assisting with other duties as required.
- To adhere to cash handling procedures, where applicable.
- To acquire a good knowledge of all products to advise customers on their product choice.
