Job Title: Tramper Driver - General Haulage

Location: Hull, HU9

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting curtainsided continental trailers from the ports in Immingham to various destinations across the UK.

Responsibilities:

* Transport trailers from the ports to various destinations
* Perform full strip-down of trailers as required
* Secure goods for export with proper strapping techniques
* Conduct multi-drop trailer deliveries as needed
* Reload trailers and return them to the port in Immingham
* Adhere to tachograph regulations and use the maximum hours legally allowed

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E)
* A minimum of 2 years of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
* Full understanding of WTD legislation
* Excellent communication skills
* A safety-first mindset
* Possession of all necessary PPE, including trousers, t-shirts, hard hat with chin strap, safety specs, ear defenders, hi-viz vest or jacket, and safety boots (boots are mandatory)
