Educational Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable school in Tonbridge, supporting students with special educational needs (SEND). As a dedicated professional, you will provide personalized support and guidance to pupils facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
About the Role:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their academic and personal growth
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop tailored plans for each student
- Utilize your expertise to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular review meetings
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (for occasional travel between schools)
