About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver parcels to customers across a designated area, using route-planning technology to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prep your van and workload for the day, ensuring you are ready to hit the road and deliver parcels to our customers.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service and representing Royal Mail Group in a positive light.
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload and ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Be comfortable working in the afternoon and early evenings, and be willing to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and punctual, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using technology, including route-planning tools and mobile devices.
