Job Title: Technical Development Associate

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Technical Development Associate to join our engineering team at Ja Brooks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced professional looking to develop their technical skills and knowledge.

About the Role:

The primary function of this role is to assist in the development of technical solutions to drive project success. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our senior engineers to deliver high-quality projects and contribute to the development of our engineering processes.

You will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, drawings, designs, and current regulations & standards.

Accountabilities:
  • Assist in carrying out feasibility studies, evaluate project requirements, and develop design concepts/solutions to ensure technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure that projects comply with contract specifications, drawings, designs, and current regulations & standards, and identify any non-conformities.
  • Contribute to any value engineering required for projects and help implement these through to completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • C&G or NVQ to level 3
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering Services
  • A-Levels/GCSEs
  • Relevant experience as needed for the role.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
