We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team as a Year 6 Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum and promoting a conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets
  • Developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
  • Passionate about learning
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment
  • Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
