Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at GPW Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the cable market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and End Users, positioning our company as their preferred supplier for cables and accessories.
  • Lead Generation: Actively seek and generate new sales leads to drive business growth.
  • Market Insights: Gather and report on market data, including pricing and volume trends, to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Business Opportunities: Identify emerging market trends and opportunities, introducing new products to the company and to the market.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the Marketing Department and Internal Sales Team to follow up on leads and support ongoing sales efforts.
  • New Growth: Explore new areas of growth, expanding the product mix and market reach.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management on sales activity and forecasts.
  • Increase Sales: Consistently work to boost business levels, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.
  • Competitor Analysis: Provide feedback on competitor products and activities to ensure our company stays ahead in the market.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a direct distribution company.
  • A strong background in technical or industrial product sales is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A self-motivated individual who is confident managing their own workload and delivering results.
  • A full clean driving license is required for regular travel.
