About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Packaging Engineer to join our team at GSK. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will provide engineering expertise to support the manufacturing, automation, and controls systems for all production operations at our site.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility and knowledge of current GMP requirements within major pharmaceutical markets. A strong understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is also essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and completing maintenance works orders
  • Developing risk assessments and method statements for tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP procedures and completing all GMP documentation accurately
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to installed equipment
  • Mentoring apprentices and auditing engineering-controlled areas
