About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Respiratory Team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized physiotherapy services to patients within the inpatient service, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective patient care aligned with evidence-based practices and standards.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat complex cases, participating in service development projects and contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes.
  • Support both inpatient and outpatient teams, including weekend work as needed, and provide clinical supervision to Band 5 and support staff.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic care plans, guiding staff in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Minimum 4 months of experience working on an ITU and Respiratory wards, with a strong understanding of respiratory medicine and its related procedures.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in developing staff and sharing knowledge, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
