About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance
    • Maintain strict adherence to safe working practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
    • Actively contribute to promoting a safe work environment by following all health and safety policies and encouraging safe behaviors and systems of work.
  • Machine Maintenance
    • Handle repairs and breakdowns of material converting machines, addressing both electrical and mechanical issues while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and scheduled work plans.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage stores inventory effectively, utilizing systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects that align with company goals and objectives, particularly in relation to cost to order (CTO).
  • Project Leadership & Training
    • Take initiative in leading projects, training other team members, and being part of a world-class team of technicians.
    • Embrace opportunities to learn new processes and complete necessary training to grow within the organization.
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform other assigned tasks, including participation in special projects as identified.
