Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Valet to join our esteemed Housekeeping team at The Soho Hotel. As a Valet, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our hotel, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and pressing, to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Handle sewing tasks and minor garment repairs as needed, ensuring team members' uniforms are clean and presentable.
  • Organize and manage team members' uniforms, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Respond flexibly to the needs of the department, using your initiative to solve problems and maintain a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
