About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Commercial Manager to join our team at Wilson James. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial Manager in the daily running of commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Manager in cost control, application preparation, and mentoring the operational team on commercial awareness.
  • Assist with data forecasting for labour and materials.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in commercial management or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze and understand data, presenting it to others in various formats.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience working in a busy office environment and under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional standard).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Proven track record in large-scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector.

Site-Specific Requirements

  • Ability to provide a 3-year work/unemployment/education history for vetting purposes.
  • Pass the HPC vetting process.
  • Ability to commute to the site, which is located remotely, with a 45-minute bus journey each way.
