We are looking for a talented and experienced Trumpet teacher to lead our Music department at The Edinburgh Academy. As a Senior Music Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students of all ages, from primary to S6, and help shape the future of our music programme.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional teaching skills, a deep understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. They will also be able to contribute to school and external performances, and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.

In this self-employed role, you will work closely with the Head of Wind Brass and Percussion to deliver high-quality instruction and support the development of our music programme. You will be responsible for providing weekly individual lessons, giving regular feedback to students, and supporting SQA and other exam candidates as needed.
