A leading chartered accountancy practice in Canterbury is seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team. As a key hire, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a quality audit and accounts service, while also leading project work.

Based in Canterbury, this successful mid-tier practice has a strong reputation for acting for individuals, directors, and private clients. The firm offers a compliance service, as well as advisory and tax planning advice. You will be responsible for:
  • Liaising with clients and managing expectations.
  • Organising and running accounting and audit assignments.
  • Supervising and reviewing staff output.
  • Reporting directly to the Partner and attending client meetings.
  • Reviewing accounts and corporation tax deliverables.
  • Working with a team of Managers and Partners to develop the office and team.

Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Extensive audit experience in a Practice environment.
  • Confident client service and delivery.
  • A dynamic approach to adapting to change.

Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified, with a strong background in audit or audit and accounts. Your experience will have been gained in a Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent accountancy practice. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, experience of supervising others, and organisational skills.
