About the Role

Grosvenor Casino, Reading South is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the finances of the club, ensuring accurate accounting for all transactions, and adhering to gambling regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge, welcome, and assist customers at the Cash Desk
  • Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions
  • Collaborate with the cash desk and wider casino team
  • Comply with all company procedures and regulations
  • Recommend the loyalty program to customers
  • Support with cash or asset counts in the club
  • Maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations
  • Report to the head cashier

Requirements

  • Holds a PFL license or can apply for one from the Gambling Commission
  • Numeracy skills and ability to manage large sums of cash
  • Experience in a cashier or accounts role is ideal
  • Understanding or willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
