About This Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Support team member to join our team at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and inspect dishware, silverware, glasses, and kitchen equipment, or manually wash pots, pans, and cast-iron dishes via a three-compartment sink.
  • Monitor and properly dispose of trash, recycling, and compost in their designated locations.
  • Assist with some beginner-level food preparation tasks, including cutting, mixing, peeling, and assembly.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and working areas are safe, clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition.
  • Help maintain cleanliness in guest areas, such as floors, walls, restrooms, and windows.
  • Receive, organize, and rotate orders and product throughout the week to ensure the highest quality and freshness.
  • May be assigned additional work within the restaurant operation as needed.
  • Follow and enforce all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to FDA and Health Code guidelines.
