Job Title: Apprentice Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our dynamic and innovative service that delivers psychological interventions for individuals with mild to moderate depression and anxiety-related disorders in Liverpool.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Health and Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be working in a primary care setting, delivering low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based treatment. You will be responsible for working with individuals to help them manage their mental health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver low-intensity CBT based treatment to individuals with mild to moderate depression and anxiety-related disorders
  • Work in a primary care setting, providing psychological interventions to individuals
  • Develop and maintain good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans
Requirements
  • Recognised Post Graduate Certificate or qualification in Primary Care Mental Health Practice or Low Intensity CBT Practitioner
  • Registration with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Experience of working in primary care and community settings
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
