Cloud Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Matched Group. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the availability of core business services, including cloud-based services, build environments, microservices, and more.
  • Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain automated server configuration, server security, and database interrogation processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Linux configuration and maintenance experience.
  • Scripting and coding skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience working in a cloud-first environment using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Desire to move into a forward-thinking DevOps role.
