Job Title: Apprentice Tutor

This role requires a highly motivated and self-driven individual to deliver high-quality short courses. The successful candidate will have recent experience of delivering qualifications such as Mental Health Awareness, Wellbeing, Warehousing, Hospitality, Customer Service, and Lean Organisation Management Techniques, and/or Industrial Environmental Awareness, Team Leading, Personal and Social Development up to level 2 and above.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for all age groups and learning programs in various locations, including classrooms, workplaces, or communities.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and/or industry experience to set challenging and engaging activities and develop high-quality learning materials and resources.
  • Use imaginative teaching strategies that match individual needs accurately.
  • Provide constructive feedback of consistent quality.
  • Deliver and embed Functional Skills (Maths, English, and ICT) into teaching/assessing activities.
  • Ensure equality and diversity are fully integrated into the learning experience.
Qualifications & Training:
  • Hold a relevant teaching certificate.
  • Possess an appropriate vocational qualification in a sector relevant to the teaching area.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development.
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths, and ICT) or equivalent.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, provide satisfactory references, and prove their eligibility to work in the UK. Tutors will be required to work at various locations within the Northeast, and a car user is an essential part of the criteria.
