Maintenance and Engineering Service Specialist

The Shift Engineer will be responsible for providing maintenance and engineering service support to the site, driving improved performance and cost, services, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake tasks that require data and strong diagnostics to identify and act upon underlying root cause issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to front-line employees on equipment best practices.
- Support and lead project initiatives in the plant, prioritizing multiple tasks using initiative.
- Coach and influence peers, promoting safe working practices and striving to achieve KPI targets for maintenance, line performance, and waste reduction.
- Develop proactive fault prevention and continuous improvement activities, reviewing production targets and priorities to meet them with minimal downtime.
- Ability to interrogate PLC code used for diagnostic fault finding.
- Multi-skilled, electrically biased with electrical qualifications, including C&G 2365, 236, 2330, 2360, and 2351.
- HNC or HND, 18th Edition, and experience in high-volume continuous production environments with PLC, pneumatic control, and high mechanical aptitude.
- Strong technical competence in specific fields, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
The Shift Engineer will work a 4-week shift rotation, with varying days and nights, including:
- Week-1: Monday, Tuesday = DAYS, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday = NIGHTS.
- Week-2: Wednesday, Thursday = DAYS.
- Week-3: Monday, Tuesday = NIGHTS, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday = DAYS.
- Week-4: Wednesday, Thursday = NIGHTS.
