**Exciting Opportunity for Digital Product Delivery Expert**

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Delivery Expert to join our team at the Scottish Government.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring successful product delivery in an Agile project management framework. As a Product Lead, you will be responsible for the quality of your products and use your knowledge of user needs and business goals to frame problems and set priorities for your delivery teams.

**About Us**

The Social Security Programme Directorate has been created to design and implement devolved benefits for Scotland, enabling the delivery of 16.5 million payments per year, to an estimated two million people.

This vacancy sits within the Programme Management and Delivery Division and will support our various teams within the programme.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage day-to-day product planning and delivery on behalf of Senior Product Managers, across a range of social security welfare benefit projects or support services and platforms.
  • Support the development and deliver functionality for which you are responsible to meet the needs of users, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Create effective, prioritized product descriptions and delivery plans to meet user needs in a cost-effective way.

**Requirements**

We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Product Delivery Expert with experience of working in a fast-paced environment, creating and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders, and presenting complex information to staff and senior leaders.

You should have a proven track record of delivering in Agile environments, knowledge of user research, and the ability to interpret it to make correct product decisions.

Able to work collaboratively with teams, understand the relationship between specific products and overall delivery, and communicate credibly with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
